This Privacy Policy governs the processing and protection of personal data of individuals who visit the websites of IE "INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS CENTRE" or place orders for international driver translation services.

2. LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING

2.1. Processing is performed on the basis of:

• explicit consent of the data subject provided during online order submission or consent banner interaction;
• the performance of a contract (Public Offer Agreement) to which the data subject is a party;
• compliance with legal obligations imposed upon the Operator by Kazakhstan legislation.

3. SOURCES OF DATA

3.1. Personal data is provided directly by the Customer when completing web forms, submitting photographs of documents, communicating via WhatsApp/Telegram, or interacting with customer support.

3.2. Technical data (IP address, browser type, cookies) is collected automatically upon visiting Operator Websites subject to cookie consent settings.

4. CATEGORIES OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

4.1. Identification and Contact Data: Full name, date and country/place of birth, contact telephone number, email address, delivery address.

4.2. Driving Licence Data: National driving licence number, date of issue, expiration date, issuing authority, permitted driving categories, photo/scans of the national driving licence.

4.3. Biometric / Portrait Data: Personal portrait photograph submitted for placement onto Personalized Materials (translation card and printed multi-page translation).

4.4. Order & Transaction Data: Chosen service tier, payment status, transaction identifiers, delivery tracking numbers.

5. TECHNICAL DATA, COOKIES, AND ANALYTICS

5.1. The Operator utilizes necessary, analytical, and marketing cookies as set forth in the Cookie Policy.

5.2. Analytical services (Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica) operate in accordance with Google Consent Mode v2 and only activate tracking storage upon explicit user consent.

6. PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

6.1. Personal data is processed exclusively for:

• processing customer orders and preparing accurate international driver translations;
• manufacturing physical Personalized Materials (printing, laminating);
• organizing postal and express courier delivery to the designated address;
• providing online verification services for issued translation numbers;
• communicating order progress, status updates, and support responses;
• complying with financial, tax, and accounting reporting requirements.

7. PROCESSING PROCEDURES

7.1. Processing includes collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, extraction, use, transfer, depersonalization, blocking, and destruction using automated database systems and secure communication protocols (HTTPS, TLS 1.3).

8. DATA LOCALIZATION AND STORAGE

8.1. In compliance with Article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Personal Data and their Protection", primary collection, accumulation, and storage of personal data databases of Kazakhstan residents are localized on secure server infrastructure physically situated within the Republic of Kazakhstan.

9. ONLINE VERIFICATION AND STATUS CHECK SERVICES

9.1. To facilitate document verification by international vehicle rental providers and traffic authorities, the Operator maintains secure verification portals (verify.idl.or.at, idlc.kz/validate).

9.2. Public verification returns only confirmation of translation authenticity, registration number, issue/expiry dates, and permitted vehicle categories. Full personal identification or passport scans are never exposed publicly.

10. CROSS-BORDER PROCESSING

10.1. When international courier delivery is selected by the Customer or when interacting with foreign cloud infrastructure, cross-border transfer is executed in accordance with Kazakhstan law with appropriate technical safeguards.

11. DATA TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES

11.1. The Operator transfers personal data strictly to authorized service partners necessary for contract fulfillment: licensed courier/delivery services (CDEK, Kazpost), integrated banking gateways (Kaspi, Halyk), and authorized printing facilities under strict non-disclosure obligations.

11.2. The Operator never sells, rents, or commercializes personal data to advertisers or unauthorized third parties.

12. RETENTION PERIODS, BLOCKING, AND DESTRUCTION

12.1. Personal data is retained for the validity duration of the prepared translation plus statutory tax retention periods (5 years), after which digital source document photos are securely purged or anonymized.

12.2. Upon Customer request or withdrawal of consent, data is blocked and destroyed within statutory timeframes, provided retention is not required by law.

13. RIGHTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT

13.1. The data subject has the right to:

• know of the existence and content of their personal data held by the Operator;
• request clarification, correction, or updating of inaccurate data;
• demand blocking or destruction of data processed in violation of law;
• withdraw previously granted consent by sending written notice to info@idlc.kz.

14. DATA PROTECTION MEASURES

14.1. The Operator applies legal, organizational, and technical security measures: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, firewall protection, regular security audits, and staff confidentiality agreements.

15. POLICY AMENDMENTS

15.1. The Operator may update this Policy periodically. The revised version is effective upon publication on Operator Websites with the revised date indicated at the top.
